Ard Climate Tech is a Qatari government-backed climate initiative, combining a physical innovation hub with an investment fund aimed at helping startups scale. The brand needed a motion language that could demonstrate the rigour of a serious research body and also the radical openness of an organisation inviting the world to participate. A tension of ambition and reality, the speculative and the concrete.

The lab was named Ard, from the Arabic for earth, clay or ground. This gave a name rooted in the physical world, for an organisation trying to turn ideas into reality.

The central piece of the motion system was the Convergence Node. A 3D logo form built around torus knot geometry that could shift between radically different materials while remaining structurally the same object. Metallic, organic, crystalline surfaces, iridescent finishes gave an underlying shape that reads as a piece of engineering or a natural growth structure depending on treatment, visualising the fusion of disciplines and perspectives that hub was designed to attract.

The Convergence Node anchored a full motion toolkit covering logo behaviour, typography, grid system and transition language, deployed across event stage installations, DOOH, social and a WebGL-based 3D Asset Generator, a browser tool allowing event attendees to manipulate the node directly, adjusting texture, scale, colour and density. That tool gave the brand's generative logic something tangible and participatory which turned the motion system into a direct expression of the their open platform positioning.
